TPA announces its organizing principles moving forward are threefold: 1) Sustainability in Touring and Working; 2) A More Equitable, Diverse and Safe Workplace; and 3) Reducing the Stigma Surrounding Mental Health.
TPA encourages collaborating with three great sustainability experts in REVERB, AGF (A Greener Festival) and Effect Partners. They also highlight Live Nation's "Green Nation" questionnaire, which asks for insight on the best ways to reduce the environmental impact of concerts and touring.
The Roadie Clinic is a roadie-led advocacy group focused on the mental health and well-being of roadies everywhere. Once they open, their space will offer therapy, education, financial guidance, temporary housing and other resources. They also offer recovery resources, including "Roadies in Recovery," which supports all crew who are currently struggling with any addictions.
